Is the $49.95 applied toward my grill?

Yes. Your entire membership fee will be credited toward the purchase of a Burdy grill on Kickstarter.
Is the membership refundable?

Yes. You may request a full refund at any time before the end of Burdy's Kickstarter campaign. If Burdy's Kickstarter campaign fails for any reason, your membership will be refunded automatically.

If you purchase a grill during Burdy's Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign (Sept 15 to Oct 15, 2026) your membership fee will be refunded as a credit toward the purchase. Credit refunds will be issued by November 1, 2026.
Does membership guarantee that I receive a grill?

Go receive a grill, members will need to purchase their grill on Kickstarter during Burdy's 30-day crowdfunding campaign, September 15ht to October 15th, 2026.

First-run quantities will be limited. But Founders Club members are guaranteed availability during the campaign, even if Burdy sells out.
When will my hat and gloves arrive?

We're shipping membership goodies—gloves and hats—by September 1st.
How many memberships are available?

The initial release is limited to 150 memberships. If demand significantly exceeds expectations, Burdy may release additional memberships before enrollment closes. All members will be guaranteed access to purchase a grill during the Kickstarter from the first production run.
Am I guaranteed to receive a pilot grill?

No. Founders Club members will be eligible to win the pilot lottery, but only approximately ten pilot grills will be available. Lottery winners will be selected at random.
